Dear God!! The world's ending. I wrote a poem! Everybody panic!! I ain't writ a poem in aeons.
If anyone asks.
Y'know.
If anyone wants to know.
Just tell them I'm alright.
I'm doing fine. I'm doing better
than even I expected.
If anyone asks.
You know,
if they just casually
drop it into conversation
and ask if she's alright
(meaning me of course).
Tell 'em.
She's just fine.
The worst is long gone
and the best is yet to come.
But she's fine, thanks for asking.
she's I'm doing alright.
