It’s a shame they made the movie My Super Ex-Girlfriend.
Why? Because I had a similar idea quite a while ago. Around 2002, after the stuff with my own ex had largely taken place. I wrote some stuff but I couldn’t get the tone right. Mine was called “Your Vengeful Ex-Girlfriend Saves The Day”. In my version, the superhero Vengeful Ex-Girlfriend went around taking revenge for wronged women, not just against her own ex. Because she did have one, and he was a superhero as well.
I’m sorry I never got the tone right and wrote the whole thing.
I’m even more sorry because, much as I’d like to, I won’t be able to use it in World Seven, my short stories world at the end of the septology. I’m sure I’d be accused of plagarism. I’d still like to write it though! Before seeing the movie, obviously.
