So you may be wondering why I haven’t posted any updates on Nanowrimo progress.
The truth is that I gave up on Nanowrimo because I just wasn’t in the mood. I gave up after only about 5 or 6 days. I will write the piece, (World Three) but I’m not ready to write it yet. This novel isn’t any old common or garden Nanowrimo novel dreamt up on the spot. It’s been years in the making and still needs to ferment further. I’ve got more detail to discover and it ain’t worth writing a hurried version just for the sake of some stupid thing some guy invented.
On my own terms. Not-o-wirmo.
I wrote 9000 words though – I just seemed to be getting through my plot too quickly and that concerned me. Still. I’ll work on it and explore it further before I’m ready to try again.
