Well it’s been a while. I’ve been wading through the quagmire that is heartbreak and I’ve managed to do a large scale edit of DF, World One. I changed the end completely, I was never really all that happy with the previous ending, it was too ‘happy ever after’. I wanted something a bit more edgy, more uncertain future.
And now I have it. And I’m happier with it.
The current project is the second draft of Moseley Road, World Two. I’m redrafting it, my second draft. I’ve already written a chapter from an entirely different viewpoint and dropped an entire chapter. I’d mistakenly written two chapter two’s in my first draft and it was the second chapter two that got dropped, so maybe I had just had a subconscious vision that it would come to pass that chapter two #2 would not be appearing in draft two.
*snore*
It is lovely stuff though – I can see how I could break a million hearts with my words.
